PERSONALISED TOURS
We create personalised, flexible, conservation-oriented experiences for select groups of 1-5 vehicles.

We'll work with you to select the routes, areas, activities and accommodation best suited to your needs, preferences, and budgets.

We can 'build in' adventure, excitement, opportunities for activities such as photography or fishing, time to reflect in the peace and tranquillity of the great Zambezi wildernesses - whatever you feel you'd like to do.

And you'll also be able to 'get under the skin' of these places, both by chatting with us round the braai and from the detailed electronic and hard-copy information briefings we provide as part of our service.

These tours can work either as 'stand-alones' or as components of a more extensive Zimbabwean or regional journey. Click here for more information about our personalised tours, and some ideas to start you thinking!

'CONNOISSEUR ROUTES'
These routes are designed for those who'd like to 'do something different' on the way to the Zambezi Valley or Lake Kariba areas. We've negotiated exclusive arrangements with wilderness camps in remote and scenic areas unavailable to the general public. With their vast ecological, cultural and other interest, these routes will give you an unbeatable introduction to Zimbabwe and the Zambezi region.

And if you're having trouble getting into - or want to avoid - the better-known Zambezi areas during the hectic June-July period, consider our 'Great Escapes.' We've prebooked campsites beside the Zambezi in the wild and remote Chewore Safari Area, and we'll get there via our Eastern Valley 'connoisseur route'.

FIXED DEPARTURES
On July 2 we're introducing the 12-day Afloat'n'Ashore concept we've developed, which includes sailing on Lake Kariba, canoeing on the Zambezi, and interesting driving in areas such as the Zambezi escarpment.
'Expressions of interest' by email will be welcome!

We're also planning an 'Angler's Special' on the Zambezi in the Chewore Safari Area, departing on September 16 and travelling via our Eastern Valley 'connoisseur route'. This trip is timed to catch the beginning of the prime tigerfishing season. Let us know by email if you're interested.

GENERAL INFORMATION
Our basic routes are designed for standard 4x4's, and drivers with limited 4x4 experience. You'll need to bring camping equipment (for all tours) and provisions (for self-catering tours), and we'll brief you beforehand about any other items you may need on a particular route.

We are registered with the Zimbabwe Tourism Authority, licenced to operate within National Parks, and members of the Safari Operators Association of Zimbabwe. We also operate our own VHF radio frequency, and equip all participants with hand-held radio sets.

Adjust your tyre pressures - your ZIM4x4 adventure begins here!

You've got the 4X4 - we've got The Knowledge!

We've worked to conserve wilderness and wildlife in Zimbabwe's Zambezi region for 30 years. We know the places to go to, and how to get there.

We can take you to the great Parks, but we specialise in 'off-the-beaten-track' routes that few visitors use, and the many little-known, wild and immensely beautiful places beyond the park borders. And we know the wealth of ecological, cultural, geological and other fascinating detail that lies beneath the wild and beautiful surface of these places.
